I'm not ready to do a hat dance just yet.  So far Rodgers is doing as well as I expected.  Now if he stays consistent?  Last weeks penalties, YIKES!  After Detroits second half breakout I thought the game was really on, but the D sat um down good enough.  I'm thinking at least 500.  Maybe better?  Go Pack!

Don't get too excited. They just played the Lions. After being a Lions fan for all these years, there's one thing I can say with certainty. The Detroit Lions can make a mediocre team look like Super Bowl contenders.

I will say this though, Rodgers did look composed, and threw well under pressure. (when the Lions could muster up any pressure)

I think it just goes to show that QB's that get some bench time before being thrown to the Lions helps.

Big games coming up that should shed some light on just how good they are.     Philly at Dallas, Dallas at GB next week, and Philly and Pittsburgh next week as well.

Got to say GB is in Dallas shoes right now.    We have Romo with all the tools and supporting cast, except Romo don't have much game time experience, or playoff experience.

Rodgers has the tools, the supporting cast, just lacking in big game experience.   I can see the Packers in the next couple of years being a contender to win it all.   You guys are young and talented, and scary.

Dang straight matt :D

Personally i live in the town Romo grew up so i watched many of his college games. Hes pretty good. But he cracks on pressure so easily. When he has time he can make some plays, (which hes got a good line blocking for him), but i just dont like the guy haha.

Ive been a packers fan all my life and its hard being 80% packers and 20 % jets fan now. Farve was the man and will continue to be but the jets team just sucks, without farve they'd be 0-2!

All in all Rodgers is the man, and i think he can get things done. I just cant wait too see the future of him and the packers. Also no one can forget the great and all mightys, Ryan Grant and Donald Driver! Two key compodents. Cant forget our young and HUGE offensive linemen.

Beware everyone you have something to fear of from the G-FORCES!

CatfishKing, dont forget Greg Jennings, hes averigaing over 23 yards per catch and had a 56 yarder against the Vikings and a 62 against the Lions. He has a bright future.  8-)

Atleast they don't have farve anymore! I couldn't stand him. Over rated and over payed! One good hit and he may pop a hip out of place.... Glad to see you with another team grandpa, time for the packers to shine!
