Who Plays Guitar?

Featured Replies

I saw the extremely long guitar player thread so I figured there has to be at least some guitarists on this forum. If you play guitar, state what type of music you play, what type of gear you have, what songs/music you've been playing lately, and how long you've been playing.

As for me, I play shred and metal(metalcore and death metal) mostly, but also a good bit of blues. My main guitar is a Jackson SL1 and I'm playing through a line 6 spider 3 120 watt combo but I'm upgrading to a Peavey stack this winter. Lately I've been playing a lot of original  stuff with my band but when I have time I've been working on a lot of Jason Becker and Steve Vai stuff. I've been playing for 8 years.

I do, I mostly play for my church. I have an Epiphone Les Paul, With a new pick up, a Marshall 250 DFX 100 watt 2X12 combo.

Bassist here.

My current set up is a Morgan Monroe Creekside acoustic.  I mostly play unplugged.  Classic Rock, R&B, and Blues are the main genres.

I have a mexican Fender Standard Strat, a Fender AG20 acoustic, a Sunrise acoustic.  I only have a small Peavey practice amp that I play through.

I also have an LTD 505 5-string bass and a Fender Rumble 100 amp.

I don't really play all that much any more.  Used to play rock and such.

Washburn WI66prog,  Fender Blues Jr.
