Did anyone else watch (with glee) as Jodie Meeks dropped 54 points on Tennessee last night at Thompson-Boling Arena. Now, I know Kentucky thumping Tennessee is nothing new, but 54 points is kinda awesome.

I remember when Issel scored his points to set the mark.

I think Pistol Pete Maravich of LSU may hold the top spot for opponents scoring in Rupp Arena.

When LSU played UK I think Issel guarded the Pistol and he smiled and laughed the entire game as Pete just kept throwing in those two-point baskets.

To this day I have been told that Pete Maravich is the only visiting player to get a standing ovation in Rupp Arena.

Yes I watched it. Meeks was the most under-rated player in college basketball. I think he opened up some eyes lastnight.

Let's not throw any parades now, he has a long way to go to sit with Grant,Jabbar and Maravich

I'd say he was ahead. None of those guys ever played for Kentucky. 8-)
