Nice job. I like the way you left room underneath for storage.

thanks man. its definitely going to be nice.

do you have supports for the middle of that? i could imagine just plywood with no middle support holding a persons weight over that width.  i put a deck in my jon boat and went through the floor the first time i stood on it with no supports down the middle. ;D

looks good, i use to sleep in a S10 blazer it worked out fine but i didn't have it fixed up like you have. it won't git wet like a tent.

looks great... I actually did that camping a few times in my old 79 Chevy many years back in my teen years. But at my height, had to keep the tailgate down :D

I've always wanted to cut a mattress to fit in the back of my truck an have a portable bet.

I used to keep a bunk bed mattress already sheeted with pillow and blankets folded in half with a tie string in the garage.  Whenever I wanted to take off, I would just toss it in the back of the truck.  Works pretty good when your running solo.

All you need now is a lava lamp, some silk pillows and some incense...  Instant shag shack

The $180 air matress for SUVs made me lol. I have a tent that attaches to the back of my Suburban. The wife and I sleep on a $20 full-size air matress in the back of the 'Burb and the boys sleep on twin-size air matresses in the tent. When they get holes in them (and they will) I throw them away and buy new ones. Cheap, easy to find, and they take standard fitted sheets.  ;)
