how to carolina rig?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! This is my first post - great forum you have here. I haven't done much bass fishing since I was a kid but I recently bought a boat and have started taking my 6 year old son out after the bass. I have had good luck Texas rigging my plastic worms and using a wacky rig as well... in fact, I plan to let the boy throw wacky rigged senkos tomorrow morning.

I'm sure I will learn a lot by hanging around here but my question today is: what is a carolina rig?

Thanks

Jay

JCV- I have the perfect product for you. I love using a carolina rig so I fell in love with the carolina keeper(CK). Instead of having to tie a leader you just squeeze the CK with a pair of needle nose pliers and thread the line through, which can be adjusted later to change your presentation. What I like most is you do not have to retie to throw a texas rig or to adjust. You can find them @ BPS. Here is a picture.
