That's why I made sure to point out that this isn't a "best" list, but a favs list.  Mercury was no doubt one of (if not THE) most technically accomplished singers in rock, but neither he, nor Queen have ever really been a band I cared to listen to.

I guess I should clarify:  I meant that how can he not make my top three.
