Crappie in Kentucky Lake

Featured Replies

My buddy from back home was telling me that Black Crappie have overtaken White Crappie as the dominant species in Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. Has anyone heard this as well? What would cause the coup d'etat?

When Bud sees this post he will be able to answer all your questions regarding crappie on these lakes.

I am prety sure that is the case.  I think I remember reading it one of the local papers a while back.  As for what caused the change I can't remember.
