Hey I am new to the shad game. I hear they are coming up now. What color darts should I use and type of rod and line? If the shad are hitting on 1/8 oz. darts and I am fishing from shore can I add weight or just stick with a 1/4 oz dart?

    check the southeastern forum, there is an ongoing thread, with some info on it.  also try google, you can find a lot of good info out there.  i have been using pink and yellow shad darts
