7/26/07--A few fish pics

Featured Replies

Hadn't caught any Bass over 2 lbs until today.  Sunny, large clouds, 98 degrees air temp as I walked the bank.  No bites on anything I tried until I got to the middle area of the 'T'-shaped upper pond on my former boss's farm.  A weightless Swimming Senko caused a 4 lber to bite.  The hot weather/water(don't know it's temp?) didn't keep this Bass from pulling drag and fighting all the way to the bank.

The pic of the 2 lber is from 2 days ago.  All I caught then but the Javallon bait made the pic interesting.

Three days ago, I fished with my best buddy Bill and he caught the biggest Bass, a 2 lber on a Senko.

The big Bluegill bit a Zoom Speed Worm on a Wiggle Rig.

Nice fish, as usual.  You're tougher than me...90+ temp, no thanks, 89 is my limit ;D

It's been a yr or two since I got into bluegill like that.  What fun, wax worms and a couple free hours and your plum worn out.  But dinner sure is good ;)

Thank you Deb.  Went out again this afternoon in mid-90s heat but skunked out this time.  I had a 3 lber(?) on a hard jerkbait for a few seconds but it threw the bait right back at me :o  I prefer the warmer months since I was born-n-raised in South Florida :).  I spent one winter in KY at the IBM training school in Lexington in the early 60s and that was no fun for this thin-blooded Floridian 8-),

Hey Dan,

The winters in KY can get kinda chilly but then there's the fireplace to snuggle by. I live in southern Ky so it's not as bad as up north ;D...

just wait a little while...spring always comes around......I love the changing of the seasons...Winter the least, then summer, but I sure do enjoy spring and fall. Heck I enjoy them all. It's called living...........
