A pic from this summer

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I was looking through some old pics from this summer and stumbled upon this photo. This was the biggest bass I caught over this past summer.

This was the first year I have really started fishing and I wasnt able to get out much since I graduated college and started working full time.

Since I am getting some cabin fever up here in MA, I thought I would share a pic of a nice bass and some nice scenery behind it.

If you have an approximate guess as to how much she weighed, that would be pretty cool to know. I already cant wait for next year!

A very respectable 2 to 2 1/2. Nice fish! After feeling like spring here in R.I. I'd take one of those!  ;)

Nice One!  :)

I'd say about 2 1/2 lbs.

Nice fish.  What did you catch it on and how?

As already mentioned, this looks like some nice fishy waters.

that bass looks like its almost at 3lbs. nice fish! i love gettin a nice one in the middle of catching some dinks.

those waters look very shallow. nice for spawn fishing. that bass youre holding (if its femal) would be a solid 5lb during the spawn. you should try running a super shallow (wake) crankbait thru there (bandit footloose) in early spring and see whatcha pull up ;)

Thanks for the help...i will be sure to keep you updated!

As for what I caught her on, I believe it was a t-rigged berkley tequila sunrise worm.

This is one area that I know for sure holds some good size bass for these areas, so i am def. going to get back there during the spawn this spring.
