Murkey/Dirty Water--Advice

Featured Replies

I fish in a lake that is very murky/dirty but has some HUGE bass. I have good luck using nightcrawlers but lures have been hit or miss. The problem is the nightcrawlers really attract bluegill which is a pain. Can anyone suggest the best bass lure AND color for murky water. As usual--Thanks!!!

Try a 3/8 chart/white spinnerbait with gold colorado blades.

Yup, can't beat that!

I like to use 2 blades.

I will add big round shallow to mid depth cranks that put a lot of vibration in warmer water and lipless trap type for cooler water.

dont forget the black cavitron buzzbait. and if your catchin them on nightcrawlers, try a senko or a big 10 in. worm. ooo ooo and a paddle tail worm will do well too!!!!
