random note, just for kicks.... while fishing a private pond yesterday, a bullfrog hoped outta nowhere, and sucked my nories bug that i was about to twitch off the scum and into the water.....    it sucked it in, dove for cover and a few seconds later was dangling in front of me.....   he friggin' ate it!

i got it out and tossed him in and he TOOK OFF!!!!!!

just wonderd if anyone else has had this happen!?

You bet Stephen and that is a real trip isn't it. I've had'em eat just about every type of top or floating bait you can imagine and I enjoyed every one of'em. Good going.

I fish topwater all the time, I have never caught a frog... Guess they don't like to eat each other haha ;D

Theres one at a pond I fish that will sit up on top of the moss and kill anything you drag past him.  I'm talking every single time.

actually, considering i was tossing it on an ultralight it wasnt bad.... lol for a frog of course...... the funny thing was that i was fishing it on a spot remover, so he hit it when it sliped off the side of the scum......

and ew.... i like seafood, never did take to the taste of frog legs....

was fishing with bronzeback bomber last sunday and had a HUGE bullfrog chase down my frog through some thick pads, he popped up right behind the lily pad my frog was sitting on and then jumped up and ate it. i tried setting the hook on him but he dropped it before i could.

Same here - I caught him (and landed him) the other day on a Spro frog, and the next day he was back in his corner, king of his domain  ;D

Been there and done that. It just happened to me a few weeks ago. It was a huge bullfrog. I got him through both lips. He really wanted my senko. I tried to unhook him myself but it was disgusting. I handed the thing over to hubby for him to unhook. Frog made it out ok. Truthfully I think I was the one who was worse off after the whole thing.  

When the zoo in Memphis first opened an aquarium building they had an albino (UGLY) bullfrog. It was caught by a flyfisherman and given to the zoo...

ok so u dont even know i caught 2 bull frogs doin eachother so i just cut my line........ lol
