Using JJ's Magic and catching something other than Bass

Featured Replies

Tried a 4 inch Black Finesse worm on a Dropshot yesterday,as I was trying to catch something a little bigger. Dunked the worm in Clear JJ's Magic and fished as I normally do.

Got bit,and hooked up with a strong fighter.I was really excited until the fish got to the boat. It was a Rainbow trout, about 13 inches long :-/. Seems other species like JJ's too.

Hey now that you say it, I wonder how JJ's will work in saltwater?

Ive wondered how livebait such as Nightcrawlers would react to being dunked in JJ's

Live bait probably wouldn't take to kindly to it would be my guess, but it doesn't surprise me that you caught a trout with that.   Trout love garlic.  I use garlic salmon eggs and had a buddy in college who only used Kraft garlic cheese to trout fish with.
