How many different jig trailers do you guys use?

Featured Replies

What different kind of jig trailers do you use? anyone ever use a curly tailed worm as a jig trailer? Just wondering what all you guys have had success with? Thanks for your help.

I like to use Zoom Super Chunks.  Also I like to use Zoom Brush Hogs as a jig trailer in the summertime and in early fall.  Try to match the color of the trailer to the color of the jig.

I like to use the rage tail chunk

Call me old school but I still use pork now and then.

Half the fun of jigfishing is playing around with different trailers.

Sooner or later you'll discover your favorite.

All trailers mentioned are excellent choices.

I actually used a coffee tube from Strike King today that matched my jig and it worked really well.

GYCB Flappin' Hog and NetBaits Baby Paca Craw

are my current favorites. For a smaller profile, the

GYCB Fat Baby Craw and Double Tail Grub. I still

fish Uncle Josh Pork, too.

8-)

For times when I want very little action on my trailers (cold clear water):

Zoom little critter craws

Zoom ultravibe speed craws

When I want more action:

baby paca craws and paca chunks

For my football jigs:

GYCB twin tail grubs

Occasionally in cold water:

uncle josh pork

GYCB Flappin Hog

and 4" Berkley Chigger Craws.

pacas, rages, and pork.I would use pork all the time if it wasnt as much of a pain.I love the rages and the pacas but when you go through a whole package in one outing when they are biting- thats a little much. That being said they do have awesome action and they have a much of a better color selection.
