Bed Fishing

Featured Replies

The fish at the lake I fish are starting to spawn. I've caught a few off beds using a Yellow Grub on a Dart Head. They have all been small ones though. To get them to bite I've been bumping the Grub into them until they get really aggressive and then bite it. I've seen alot of big fish that are swimming around up shalow and that are suspended in shallow water but they always spook away when I try to fish for them and never come back. Does anyone have some bed fishihng tips for me? This is my first year trying bed fishing and I want to hopefully get a big one doing it.

Thanks

Paitence!!!! ::)  Probably not what you wanted to hear. ;D

Those females aren't locked onto beds yet, but will be in the VERY near future, for a fairly short time period.  That's when they are catchable.  It's good if you can get out there everyday and ***** the situation.
