hi i am a neewbie and would like info on wet flies for bass and any tips on fishing from a kayak with a fly rod. i now fish with peck's bass  poppers only.    thanks            Lori

    Welcome to the forum. You will like it here. :)

    I like the peck's poppers also. They are great when the top water bite is on. If you can't get them to hit on top, try a couple of small split shot sinkers on your tippet or leader to get them to sink a little. Sometimes working them just below the surface is the ticket. If you over do it, casting becomes more difficult. Try it. Wooly buggers will also produce bass on the fly and you can get them almost anywhere. I hope this is helpful.
