I'm trying to plan a long week-end largemouth trip for after Christmas to use up my remaining vacation days and some frequent flier miles. Anyone have any suggestions for a good (I'm guessing Southeast) spot to check out for a few days?

FSAngler - ever think about coming north? The open water here is bursting with cold, but very active smallies. Both in rivers and lakes. Best time of the year to fish actually

Lake Fork for LM or Lake Erie for SM...those are MY 2 "dream destinations". Since it will be December, I would opt for Lake Fork, for the obvious reasons.
