weather change....

Featured Replies

i am wondering how a weather change such as several very hot and sunny days in a row then some minor thunder storms over night then back to hot and sunny?  will a quick storm effect the bass much?  any help is much appreciated!

thanks

Not really unless it brings crazy winds or a big drop in temps. I usually have good sucess the morning after a small system runs thru especcially if there is still cloud cover for the first part of the morning

Typical southern weather which can cause crazy things to happen from tight lipped to feeding frenzy.

Just one of those things ya just deal with ;)

Exactly!!!! Went through this today here! Everything pointed towards an excellent day but we ended up having to perform miracles to hook them!!

You are looking for a constant. There are no constants, (rules) with this fish.. Their reaction from one weather occurrence to another, from one hour to the next can be totally different.

Bass do not live by any rules other than they need to keep their body in oxygenated water, and eat occasionally.
