Hi from central Virginia

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I fished 10 years in the Midwest before taking an extended break due to school and moving. Now I'm finally starting back up in Virginia. I have to say, these forums are full of great information, and have been really useful for coming back up to speed :)

I mostly fish from shore in Albemarle county, and tend to throw Texas rigs, floating minnow lures, and lipless crank baits. Apparently senkos are where its at now, so I'll be giving those a try.

Cheers,

-Nern

Welcome fellow Virginian :)!

Yes senkos are fantastic... if I were you I would have a look at ***. They last long and cost less.

There must be something about this site that's getting pounded lately on Virginia people cause there's suddenly a TON of us.

Welcome, hopefully you're learning as much as I have, and will continue to.

Great to see you here. I just recently found and joined this forum and it looks like a wealth of information and help. I'm in Fluvanna County and will probably fish some of the Albemarle lakes as well.

Hi and welcome

Thanks for the welcome all.

I noticed a lot of Virginia members too. I'm going to take that to mean there are lots of nice fish to catch here :)

And as far as cheaper longer lasting alternatives to senkos... I'm all ears  ;)
