Thanks again guys. I really appreciate all the kind words. And I really hope that all of you will get to experience the same kind of rush...... regardless of the actual size of the fish, or even the species. Let's face it, that 4" Bluegill that many of us caught as our first fish, was probably as exciting as anything we could ever catch thereafter, huh ? I know it sure had one heck of an effect on me ! ;-)

As a guy who would rather catch a smallie than any fish that swims, I just got to say WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad he brought it back to the top - I joined after this was posted so this was my first time reading it.  I remember reading the post about how FC's fish was the same as the one that kid caught before, but never saw the original.  What amazing pictures and fish!

And we're coming up on the 1 year anniversary - it's time for him to catch that fish again after she's grown a bit  ;D

I agree 100%.  The markings are absolutely gorgeous.
