85 last Sunday. It rained the past 3 days. Light snow yesterday. Wind was blowing 30 today and 34 degrees this morning. Tourney yesterday was cancelled due to 40mph winds. Had my first tourney of the year today on the same body of water and water temp had dropped 7 degrees since last weekend. 2" of snow forecasted tonight.

We're going to get a taste, too. It was 75 and humid last weekend in the Twin Cities. It was nice but I knew it wasn't going to last.

I hope its a cold spring personally. Last spring was very warm and the female bass spawned weeks before the Memorial Day bass opener. I would like to be able to maybe see some sows on the beds this year.

That's what I get for buying the Lawn fertilizer yesterday - Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland - I thought I was having a nightmare !

I'm catching 4+ pounders on swim jigs right before the spawn. They should start making love in the next couple of days to a week. I really feel for you guys, one of my ponds is post-spawn already!

You guys still got ice up there? Ouch,we are all thawed out(Just cold water). It should make an interesting walleye fishing here.I can see people limiting out once our season opens in 2 weeks I believe.

Sounds like Eastern South Dakota and Southeastern Minnesota may get as much as 14" of wet snow in the next 36-48 hrs. This is the worst winter in recent memory, for sure.

Luckily we are only going to get severe thunderstorms that may spawn tornadoes and straight line winds maybe in excess of 70 mph .
