Redfish Magic

Featured Replies

I was on vacation with my family this winter, fishing Florida. Needless to say I bought some tackle there, one being the Redfish Magic by Strike King. I thought they also looked good for bass. Today I fished at a pond and using a Redfish Magic on a Norths Star swimjig caught around 25 bass, one hog. You might want to consider these, they're incredible.

What size and color were you using? Were you just swimming the jig back or bouncing the bottom? Please share. Thanks.

I was using a white Redfish Magic on a Tenessee Shad North Star swimjig, but any white swimjig should work. I was just slowly reeling the jig back, giving an occasional stop or twitch. I kept it about one and a half feet off bottom.

Any saltwater bait will work on freshwater fish and the same can be said in reverse. When I buy lures I make no distinction where I'm going to use them. Fish are fish!
