I have heard of a few people fishing the powhatan ponds!! Seen a 6lber. come out of there this past week!

Talked with AJ today, he is fishing a ton down there in TX.

I guess I am going to have to drive out there tomorrow.

i was out last sunday pan fishing...caught about 30 small crappie and 2 bass that hit my crappie jig. One bass was about 4lbs took drag out my micro setup it was fun!! There were couple others fishing off the bank catching few small bass.

i went thursday ... got skunked on the upper lake

I think I am heading out there tomorrow morning. This cooler weather, plus rain probably slowed down the bite some. Thanks for the input everyone!

fished there a couple of weeks ago caught on of the smallest lm bass Ive ever caught <1pd and that was it.

Gotta be specific between ponds and lakes.

Can't imagine anything big is coming back yet in the lakes, but it should be soon.

Ponds are always good for panfish. Bio reports show good fish out of 3rd pond.
