so i was out in the garage today making me up some jigs. a majority of the ones i have are not weedless. anyone have a way to make a jig weedless?

I'm not sure what you have for jig heads, but do you have any brush guards you can drill out the jig head and glue in? I know GMAN was selling a bunch of them on the Fleamarket forum, if not you can purchase some at an online tackle making store.

GMAN, cadman or a couple of other guys on here may have a better way.

It's pretty easy to drill out a hole for a weedguard on most jigs as long as they are big enough. I use a 1/8 bit and make sure to drill at an angle. Once you get the hang of it you can get the weedguard set in place to be just off the point of the hook so the fish doesn't have to put much pressure on it to expose the hook point.
