HMMM i must be out of the loop -I found out Bubba "HighTower" Smith passed away at the age of 66. That was a bad dude -but a gentle giant Rest in peace

ESPN really ticked me off with their handling of the story. I was watching SC the night he passed, and those !&*(&^$#$^)^$ spent more time on what Lebron had tweeted that day, than they did with Bubba.

I remember him in college, the pros and then enjoyed his acting in the movies.

Very upsetting to see a person who worked all of his life to be in tip top shape have a heart attack at the young age of 66.

He left us too early. :(

"Kill Bubba kill." Michigan St. chant on games played at home that year. If memory serves me right that was the year (1966) of the controversial tie game between Michigan ST. and Notre Dame.

He was awesome... both as a player and as "Hightower". Loved those movies when I was a kid.
