Can't Control The Weather.

Took Monday and Today off work and headed up for some fishing last Sunday. From the minute I uncovered the boat until I left today, it rained, drizzled, poured, and the wind howled like he**. In 2 1/2 days, I think I only fished 4-5 hours tops. Got a few keepers Sunday night on a swimjig and Rage Craw. Yesterday morning I didn't get on the lake until 5:30 P.M. and it was still pretty windy. My aluminum boat is like a kite in the wind. I set up a drift along a weededge and was practically trolling the boat was going so fast. I hung in a weed and ripped it free and then I felt a little tick like a bluegill nipping it. I reeled down and hit him and here is the result.

Right as I landed him it got eerily calm and darker.

Not 5 minutes later the sky opened up and it started pouring. Back home we went.

Fished maybe 45 minutes today and got 1 small one and a pike. This was the absolute worst 3 days of weather in a row I can remember fishing in. I thought I was on a Bass Resource Roadtrip. Got to spend alot of quality time with dad though.

Nice fish!

Let's hope you got all the nasty weather out of your system.;)

A sweet fish like that always makes it worth it.

WTG CWB! I always heard that "bad weather" is just a calling card for a serious fisherman  But it often makes me wish that I would have stayed home :D
