Howdy!

Hey everybody!

I am Robert Taylor III from over in Kalamazoo, MI also known as VanDam country.

I run an online magazinish site called Bad Poncho Outdoors, though I am relatively new to fishing I have quickly grown to love the sport and have even pushed to get people that wouldn't otherwise be fishing to more than enjoy the sport.

With my father being a self-taught anglers and then fishing tournaments in the 1980s and achieving angler of the year 3 years in a row in a local 20 boat club at the age of 17 I looked back on his newspaper clippings and became heavily intrigued in fishing. Not long after that we broke out the ol' broke down 20ft Gemini DCX200 and threw a 55lb thrust trolling motor on the back to aid the 70lb thrust on the front. During the 2010 season we achieved some great things on the water and I became hooked. In October of 2010 I began my blog and in mid 2011 we expanded.

Throughout the 2011 season I slowly acquired new sponsors both in the fishing and the hunting industries. Though I am still new to the whole outdoors thing it seems I may be forever integrated into the sport.

I am looking forward to spending some time on these forums and talking with everybody!
