Is there any bass fishing in Kuwait? I'm gonna be spending the next year their and though I'm in the army word is we night get sent to a navy base ad every one started joking I'd be fishing so I got to thinking what if theirs fishing in Kuwait. I did a quick search and fishing seems to be big there 1930 lakes, ponds, ect. Didn't see any bass or really what is where I did see they have northerns and walleye so there's gotta be bass right.

So has any one fished there or know anything bout fishing there

I've only spent a few weeks in Kuwait on the way into and out of Iraq, but I can't imagine that you will find many opportunities to fish. It's just too hot. Pack a travel rod with you, and work on casting, pitching, and flipping accuracy. Subscribe to a few fishing magazines, order some fishing DVDs, and log onto BR whenever you get the chance. Those are the kind of things that got me through my time overseas. I did get the chance to fish both the Tigris and Euphrates rivers during my first tour in Iraq, but it was only for a few minutes, and I didn't catch anything. IraqFishing.jpg

See that's what I was thinking too and why I never thought of fishing there till now that it's just to d**n hot and sandy.

Like the pic rocking a IBA even lol.

By the sounds of our mission changing for the 50th time and I'm not exaggerating it's gonna be a boring long pointless deployment. Bout now I wouldent care if they canceled it all together. But also u know the army rumor mill it could be way different and I'll end up in Iran or Syria who knows.

If you go into iraq I know some decent spots.
