The Arkansas Tournament Information Program (ATIP) has been collecting and analyzing tournament results from across the state since 1990. This angler-driven program provides valuable insights for understanding and managing Arkansas's bass populations. During the 2024 season, ATIP gathered data from 307 tournaments held across 33 different water bodies, with participation from 14,460 anglers.

Millwood Lake emerged as the top bass tournament lake in Arkansas for 2024, followed by Nimrod Lake and Beaver Lake. Some notable highlights from the year's data include an astounding 33.44-pound winning weight from Lake Millwood in July during Brad’s Custom Rod and Tackle Tournament Trail event, a remarkable feat for mid-summer in Arkansas. The largest bass in 2024 was a 10.62-pound bass reported caught during the Mr. Bass of Arkansas event on Lake Ouachita.

To ensure the continuation of this valuable program, we encourage all tournament directors and clubs to participate by submitting their data through the online form (scroll to bottom of page). In 2024, 24% of reports were submitted directly to ATIP, with the AGFC Black Bass Program retrieving the remaining 73% through social media. Increased submissions are crucial for maintaining data accuracy and efficiency.
