Ready to Go Electric? LiTime Argoseeker Makes Paddle Craft Electrification Easier

Bass Boating News

For many kayak anglers and small boat owners, choosing the right propulsion system can be challenging.

Manual paddling can become physically demanding during longer trips, especially with changing conditions, stronger winds, or additional gear. Fuel-powered motors provide strong propulsion but may come with concerns such as noise, maintenance, and emissions.

Electric conversions offer another option, but users often need to separately match motors, batteries, and control systems while managing installation complexity.

LiTime is addressing these challenges with the upcoming Argoseeker electric outboard motor series, designed for kayaks, canoes, and paddle craft.

The series works with LiTime’s LiFePO₄ marine batteries, combining the motor, controller, and battery system to deliver a one-stop marine power solution that simplifies the marine electrification upgrade experience from installation to operation.

Two Models Designed for Different Adventures

The Argoseeker Series will initially launch with two models designed for different paddle craft and small boat applications.

LiTime Argoseeker A1 (24V, 700W)

Designed for kayaks, canoes, and lightweight paddle craft. Specifications include:

  • 60 lbs of thrust
  • Comparable to approximately 2 HP fuel-powered outboards
  • Speed range of 4.3–6.2 mph
  • Tested with approximately 330 lbs total boat weight

The A1 provides a compact electric propulsion option for users looking to extend their range while maintaining a lightweight setup. It pairs with LiTime 24V LiFePO4 battery solutions, including 50Ah and 100Ah options.

LiTime Argoseeker A2 (48V, 2000W)

Designed for larger paddle craft and small boats requiring more power. Specifications include:

  • 120 lbs of thrust
  • Comparable to approximately 5 HP fuel-powered outboards
  • Speed range of 7.5–9.3 mph
  • Tested with approximately 660 lbs total boat weight

The A2 delivers stronger propulsion for users who need additional capability for longer distances and heavier loads. It pairs with LiTime 48V LiFePO4 battery systems, providing a powerful electric alternative to low-horsepower fuel-powered outboards.

Three Features Designed to Simplify Electric Upgrades

One-Stop Marine Power Solution

When paired with LiTime LiFePO₄ batteries, the Argoseeker Series integrates the motor, controller, and battery system into a coordinated marine power setup.

By reducing the need to source and match multiple components separately, the system helps users move toward electric boating with greater simplicity.

3-Minute Clamp-On Setup

The Argoseeker Series features a clamp-on mounting design that allows compatible paddle craft to be equipped with electric propulsion more easily.

With a simple installation process, users can spend less time preparing equipment and more time on the water.

Wireless Remote Control & Cruise Control

Beyond traditional tiller operation, Argoseeker provides wireless remote control and cruise control functionality.

The system gives users more flexible control options for a more comfortable experience during extended trips.
