To explore the future of water electrification alongside real boat users, LiTime has launched Go Electric Contest Season 2: Argoseeker Sets Sail.
The contest invites recreational boaters, anglers, kayak users, and paddle craft explorers worldwide to share their electric conversion stories, current on-water challenges, and ideas for exploring farther through photos, videos, or written submissions.
Running from July 15 through August 15, 2026, the global contest is open to users planning to add electric power to a non-powered boat, as well as those who have already completed an electric conversion.
A total of 79 winners will share prizes valued at $20,000, including complete Argoseeker electric propulsion packages, launch coupons, cash or gifts, and LiTime merchandise.
How to Enter
Participants can enter through the official LiTime Go Electric Contest campaign page by submitting photos, videos, or written stories.
Entries may cover one or more of the following:
- The participant’s current boat and equipment setup;
- Challenges caused by manual paddling or an existing propulsion system;
- Why the participant wants to convert a boat to electric power;
- The process and results of a completed electric conversion;
- Ideas for making electric boating easier or more practical.
The contest is open to recreational boaters, anglers, kayak and canoe owners, and other paddle craft users worldwide.
Participants do not need to have completed an electric conversion. Those still considering an upgrade can enter by sharing their current challenges and explaining how electric power could improve their time on the water.

From Boat Stories to Product Development
LiTime launched the first Go Electric Contest in September 2025 to better understand the needs of paddle craft users and small boat owners.
The campaign received more than 500 submissions and generated nearly 3.5 million impressions. Participants shared challenges such as paddling fatigue, limited travel range, heavier fishing loads, complicated component matching, and difficult installation.
Those real-world experiences became an important reference during the development and refinement of LiTime’s upcoming Argoseeker electric outboard series.
Following two years of development, testing, and refinement, Argoseeker is scheduled to launch in mid-August 2026.
The series is designed to work with LiTime LiFePO₄ marine batteries. By bringing together the electric outboard motor, controller, and compatible battery system, LiTime aims to provide a one-stop marine power solution that simplifies electric upgrades from installation to on-water operation.
Season 2 continues this user-driven approach. Beyond competing for prizes, participants can share practical feedback from different boats, waterways, and fishing environments, helping LiTime better understand how electric propulsion is used and where the experience can be improved.
Share Your Experience on the Water
Whether planning a first electric upgrade or already using a converted boat, participants can share what works, what remains challenging, and what they want from future electric propulsion systems.
Go Electric Contest Season 2 runs from July 15 through August 15, 2026. Entries must be submitted through LiTime’s official campaign page.
