Folks who frequently fish Lake Chicot are probably familiar with the Southeast Arkansas Crappie Federation. This active group is comprised of mostly retired business owners and well known individuals in the community that actively try to improve the fishing at Lake Chicot.
AGFC staff recently lent a helping hand to sink over 100 PVC trees that were constructed by the Crappie Federation. These sites will provide offshore areas for Crappie Anglers to target those Lake Chicot slabs! These locations will be uploaded to our website soon.
