BENTON, Ky. (May 1, 2008) - Pro Nate Wellman of Jenison, Mich., caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 14 ounces Thursday to capture a lead in the Stren Series Central Division bass fishing tournament on Kentucky Lake. "The wind really affected things today," said Wellman, who has amassed over $97,000 in career earnings from FLW Outdoors events since 2001. "It made getting around more difficult, and also made it harder to actually get to the fish."
Although Wellman didn't get to all the spots he had hoped, he still managed to pull in seven keepers for the second day of competition on Kentucky Lake.
