It seems like they've started. I live in the Cincinnati area and fish the little miami river pretty frequently. The largemouth's are sitting on beds in the area lakes and with as warm as it has been I have to think the smallies have started as well.

I'm heading to Petersburg, WV the middle of May for a weekend trip. I have a friend that lives and fishes there and he thinks the weekend we are going the smallies will be off the nest!!! I hope this is true!

I'll see what I can do about leaving a few for you (lol)! There are four of us going up and I hope the flows are good and the fish are hungry!
