Have had a very hard time finding lake maps for my state finnally found a site and want to make sure this is correct before buying. Here's an example they give from a map of a local map

Does this look good? Worth 11$?

You can download both Topographical and Hydro maps for free at the USGS organization website and print them out.

These are not free but cheaper. I get them for free because my dad is a topographical Army engineer.

A short look at that map and I think it looks pretty good. It should give you a few starting points. Remember things on a map are known to everyone. Keep glancing at your sounder so you can find structure that is not shown on a map.
