Has anyone fished Mount William Pond in Weare, NH? I heard its a designated trout pond that gets stocked and it has smallmouth as well. Just wondering if you have fished there? Just looking for some feedback, i havent yet been there but i want to.

thanks

It has both species you mentioned, and may possibly be the most fished pond I have ever seen. It's just incredible how many people fish that pond. It seems like there is always at least two boats on it, and it's tiny. Most people are fishing for trout so the bass should be all yours, and there are some big ones from what I've heard.

For me, there are so many better, less busy places in the Weare/Henniker/Hillsboro area that I don't even bother with it.
