i have been fishing there for about 4 weeks now using texas rigs, jigs, crankbaits, spinners and cant get a hit there. you can see the bass right from the shore but they just run away from them. i usually fish the smallest one there for the bass cause not many people fish up there. any help would be appreciated.

Floyd lamb is ok for taking the kid to catch some lake trout. If you really want to catch some fish drive out past the Hoover Dam and a few miles into the Arizona side on the right will be a small brown sign that will direct you to the Colorado River where you can rent a boat and catch huge stripe bass. I believe the world record was caught there. On Friday mornings at 7:00am there is a fish hatchery there that releases trout into the river. The stripe travel there to eat the trout. The boat rental place sells wood plugs that work great.
