i fished at Bay Springs Lake in north Mississippi yesterday.

there were so many ski boats and wave runners on the river channel that i decided to move to shallow water and fish visible structure on the shady side of the lake.

i tied on a spot remover jig, threaded on a strike king rage craw and started flippin and pitching.

started catching fish right away. i haven't caught that many spotted bass but they were really biting yesterday. went through a whole pack of rage craws. they aren't as big as the LMs but man do they put up a good fight ! beautiful fish too.

Try pursuing them with a fly rod! It's an absolute blast.
