There are a few Tourneyment Schedules in the area fishing these lakes as well as Sam Rayburn. Is there any one out there that is fishing them? They are all team Tournaments. Surely there is some one that knows some one that is looking for a partner. Boater or non Boater.
At any rate it's been 20 years since I've fished Conroe, and I don't remember the Lake being that Big? I'm told they made it bigger some years ago?
Any input from you fishermen and women would be great, I hate to look like an old fool on weigh in day.

Thanks

yes there are several tournaments for those lakes.there is ignintion,bass-n-bucks,stowaway marina sunday moring tournaments.i fish ignition and bass and bucks.i dont think the lake was enlarged ,actually the lake is now up to normal levela because of the hole in the dam.i placed 2nd (11.6lbs) in ignition and 6th(5.6lbs.) in bass and bucks.fishing has been tough because of cold water and high pressure but if you can manage 5 fish you are in the money.remember on conroe the min. length is 16" which can really break you in a tournament.
