  1. This will be my first year trying jerkbaits. This topic was perfect for me. thank you. Wow....the SP100 looks sweet and the color options are incredible. But I am not sure what color I should look at for ultra clear water (30 +/-)??? I like the clear variations...but the baby gill also.
  2. What are your favorite "silent" crankbaits?
  3. Is superglue the best thing to use or is there a better alternative?
  4. What are your thoughts on rattling vs. silent crankbaits for clear water? I wish they made the 3xd in silent. Sunline FC Sniper Flourocarbon....clear or invisible green? I love the sunline super mono in green (confidence).
  5. I have a certain crankbait....that is "the ONE"....but the brand does not make it in SILENT....has anyone tried quieting the rattle? (drilling a hole inserting glue and resealing) or some other slick way to accomplish the "silent".
  6. ebay. get military camo 2nd generation GORETEX parka and pants for less than $80....... plus....no one can see you on the water (smile).
  7. It is cosmetic. I want some color breakup to accentuate movement.
  8. Michigan...???.....where are you?
  9. I have a certain frog that just plain catches but after 2 seasons the color is needing touch up....can you paint soft bodied frogs and if so what should I use?
  10. I live in Northern Michigan....Ultra Clear water....chatterbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits, jigs....I am wondering what sizes, lures/brands and or what works best? Trying to up my game and I don't know if these work for my area.
  11. I have wanted BPS to make the Bionic blade in longer lengths....WHERE or WHEN did you get that stick? Just checked both spinning/casting old/new versions and their is nothing.
  12. How do you know how much line you are putting on the reel? If I use backing and then 65 yards of (flouro, etc.) how do I determine approximately 65 yards?
  13. I am curious about chatterbaits....have never used them. where should I be using one of these? I am in Michigan with ULTRA clear water.
  14. BPS Bionic Blade Micro 7' ML or M....I have been using them for years and it just plain works..sensitive yet plenty of backbone.
  15. Its my first casting setup, I want to be able to throw from senko's to crankbaits a really good all around setup I am thinking a 6'9 to 7'0. Suggestions on Rods?
  16. I have Bionic blade spinning 6'0 light I use for dropshot and it has handled very nicely my largest bass thus far at just over 5 pounds. 6'6 Medium for my casting rod and 7'0 ML for my Senko's, jigs and any thing else I tie on. They are one of the best value's with great action. With the new handles it has got to have lightened it and balanced it a lot better. They usually put them on sale in the spring so keep an eye out.
