I catch little bass in smalls ponds 1-4 are acers If there are little ones what's the likely good of finding the big one?

Fished a small pool off a creek today and lost quite a few small plastics crawling across the bottom. Usually fish rivers and reaction baits. How normal is it to lose more baits crawling across the bottom?

Hey all. I fished a spot that I used to fish daily for the first time in 3 years about a month ago. That day I caught 6 in 2 hours and had about the same in missed bites usings flukes and a senko. Now I got back there 1-3 times a week and I'm luck to get one. I'm changing it up using spinners, t-rigged creatures cranks etc and still flukes and senkos. I know there is not a lot of presurre there and at this point I see the fish sometime bumping the baits. Do you think these fish are hip to the game? I've also fished this spot under a variety of weather conditions and same thing. Do you think now they are not gonna bite anything that is our of the ordinary ?

Hi guys and gals. I've been fishing for a long time and I'm really starting to get serious about it. I've been reading on here a lot and have gained an enorumous amount of insight into bass fishing thank you all. I know everybody has their favorite brands and such but I was hoping some of you could give a breakdown as to what size/type(action) rods would be appropriate for different types of baits and or techniques? Ie spinnerbaits,cranks,worms stuff like that. Gear ratios for reels would be appreciated as well. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone else kill them with the beetle bug? It's so small and I catch huge smallies with it all day and they are so cheap. Some times I put a white 2 inch grub on them for more action. I love them anyone else for river smallies ?

Thank you yes I meant the pinnion gear. I used Abu Garcia reel oil. Should I use the grease on anything? I did not do anything on the bearings

Hello All this is my first post. Thank you all this forum has been a great help in my bass fishing. Im new to baitcasting and last night I decided to clean my Abu orra sx. Spool side only nothing on the handle or gears. I wiped the entire spool side down with rubbing alcohol including the level wind and gear beneath it. Along with the gear on the handle side and the brakes. Now the spool will barely spin even with all the breaks off and the spool tension knob super lose I cleaned that as well. Any suggestions on how to remedy the situation would be greatly appreciated.
