Oh ok I guess that was it, but I still have doubts cuz the glasses had the polarized sticker on the lens but I still even saw the glare off top of the water maybe it was a mistake or something

Will polarized glasses work for seeing through canal water down here in the urban canals? I was talking to bassinlou that the pair of polarized XPS sunglasses that i bought at bass pro weren't really helping me see through the water...they weren't really a great pair (only like $20) but they said polarized and they didn't really do much.....would anyone agree that its the murkiness of the water or is it just that the glasses were probably cheap?

Oh no Lou ive lived here my whole life, i just started FISHING here lol...and I don't take it as an insult I know I'm a rookie my catch rate can vouch for that haha you make a good point that I need patience, which I would normally have but I think the heat kind of makes patience run low...any how I dont take what you say as an insult man you keep me motivated and I thank you

Lol that's what I need man, some nice back country, with some woods, ATV's, fishing gear and a nice quite lake...I tell you man down here in florida it's just nasty heat, nasty people and nasty water noise and cars and noise all day long

It's cool man, things happen and money is meant to be spent, I just went to bass pro bought a better tackle box, some horny toads, pearl white, a hollow body pad crasher frog, some super fluke watermelon chartreuse, swimming super flukes watermelon red, zoom black and blue claw craws, a lipless crank bait in gold, some hooks, swivels, and weights to try a c-rig and different other things we will see

Broke into my car and all they found to take was the tackle box lol....if you could Lou, answer my question about the tropical park lake in the post above the last I made thanks man!!

Great now I really can't fish, someone stole my tackle box with all my lures and hooks and weights and everything -__- at least I still have my rods now I gotta save up again to buy everything again

I do go out in the morning the sun didnt come up today till seven I was at tropical park throwing by the grass for almost 3 hours and nothing I threw senkos, poppers, horny toads and zoom trick worms and nothing at the crack of dawn... I just want to gain as much knowledge as I can about the fish and the seasons and look for as many spots as I can. I still plan on fishing but maybe only early Saturdays for now till the weather gets a bit better...thanks a lot everyone's help is great on here and I really appreciate it

I left the house today at 6:30am, I don't mean I'm giving up on fishing I just mean since this is such a bad time of year to fish especially for a new comer, I'm gunna spend more time studying the sport and then put my knowledge to practice when it's not so hot out....at least when the weather is a little bit less intense and I don't catch anything I won't be dehydrated after only an hour lol.....I wanna have the knowledge in my head before I put it to practice out on the water

I've tried absolutely every suggestion, 4+ hours of fishing every day for almost 3 weeks and I've caught one fish lol..... Im giving up for now on actually being out on the water I'm just gonna do my home work and learn as much about these fish and the region I'm fishing in and wait for summer to end because nothing is working.. wish me luck guys

Ahhhhh!!!! So many lure choices lmao!!! I need to figure out where the fish are and the seasonal patterns of the fish and All that stuff I just get frustrated real easy

This is out of hand guys idk what to do anymore! I've been to millions of spots and canals these past two weeks and nothing is working I've only got one bass and it looked like a shiner....senkos, horny toads, zoom Worms, crank baits, swimmer baits. NOTHING I see the fish but they don't bite...huge peacocks just look at my lure and swim away, my casts are parallel to the bank I cast past the cover and work my way in and nothing.....I need someone to show me hands on cuz I have to be doing something wrong

I haven't tried any buzz baits yet, I've been getting a little too crazy with spending at bass pro...I do have some horny toads which are kind of like buzz baits and I'm about to leave to try those out

Hello piscicidal, Thank you glad to be on here it's been great so far, I've been trying out some of the suggestions and I finally caught one yesterday after a whole week of nothing off krome ave and sw 8th st....he was a tiny little guy but he kept my spirits up! Senkos are not working for me at all I guess maybe if I try wacky rigged but nothing with those Senkos. I caught the little bass with a popper. I tried fishing the watermelon red Senko weightless and it wouldnt even sink I think it's my line test is too strong (my rod was given to me by a friend I think it's 25 lb test) could that be the problem?

I JUST CAUGHT ONE!!!!!! Lol it was about the size of my lure tho -___- smallest bass I've ever seen! And i locked myself out of my car -____- I'm still proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool man thanks, where would those really weedy canals be tho? The only bass I've ever caught was in a canal on 8th st next to glades trail out door shooting range you know of any other spots I could try? Thanks

Maybe on the weekend I'll have better luck when I can go out at around 7:30 or 8:00 am....and lou why are polarized glasses a must?
