  1. I recently moved to the Atlanta area, Sandy Springs to be exact. I am new to the area and am trying to get some bass fishing in when I have the opportunity. I've been venturing out to some local lakes with the kayak, but I'm looking for some decent spots I could bank fish after work some days or if I only have a chance to go for a couple of hours. Any help or recommendations for fishing holes around the Sandy Springs area would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I had one that was taking on water every cast, then i realized my eyelet had been sucked back inside of the body of the frog. Once i pulled the eyelet out of the body of the frog, I fished the rest of the day with no problem. And right now Bass Pro has the Kermy frogs for $5 each and they're pretty decent.
  3. I was going to suggest Lake James. Scenery couldn't be any better! NC mountains and foothills all around. It is some of the deepest, clearest mountain water you'll find in the South. As far as places to stay I can't help you much, my mom lives close by in Morganton, NC so I've always stayed with her. Smallmouth and largemouth on Lake James so you can fish whatever you'd like. Whatever you do stay away from Lake Norman!! Lake Toxaway is nice, but further ride way up in the mountains. Good luck and let us know how it goes....
