  1. Hey Ronnie, I have a G-loomis backbounce SABBR965C rod Paired up with a Calcutta te 401. How is this set up for swim baits? I originally bought it for calico bass fishing of the party boats here in Los Angeles and I would like to know if this would be good for swim bait rod.
  2. I have a 4-5 yr old Ultegra 2500. I havn't get it serviced yet and it is just as smooth if not smoother then the day i got it. I think I'll get it serviced in a day or two. When I played with the stradic or the symetre in the 2500 models I dont know it seems that my ultegra feels even better.
  3. Hey guys. I recently purchased a Calcutta TE 401 and I am looking to get a rod for it. I will use this setup for multi-species rod here in Los Angeles area. I will use it for calico bass off party boats, surf fishing, pier fishing, catfish, and smaller swim baits for bass. At first I was considering G loomis Pro Blue but they dont come in 8'. A local tackle shop suggest the Gloomis Salmon (Backbounce) SABBR965C 8' 17 - 40lb line 2 - 8oz lure for $265. If this is a good choice is there any place to get it for a cheaper price? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you in advance!
  4. I dont know how good it would be to just feed them primarily goldfish. I've talked to a fish store owner and he advise me not to feed my fishes gold fish because they have a lot of worms in them. when other fishes eat them, the worms come out and usually latches on the gills of the fish and may cause problems. besides I think goldfishes are expensive. Here, $1 would get you 10 good size ones or 20 small ones. You would have to buy a lot to get those PB full. If anything I would suggest you try to get a small PB and feed it market frozen shrimp. this way you dont have to go out and buy gold fishes all the time and its cheaper. They are around $3-4 for one lb. Also they are much cleaner for your fish tank and water. Not to mention that there is something in shrimp that has a natural color enhanncer that will give your PB really nice colors. I may be wrong but that is something to think about.
  5. Under the seat below the seat there is a full fabric floor underneath frame which is attached between the two floating tubes to hold anything from a tackel bag and anything you might drop like lures, hooks, weights etc...
  6. Hey guys, I'm a newbi at bass fishing and I was wondering what you guys think about this Pontoon boat. I live it Los Angeles and a college student so my funds are limited. Not to mention I dont have a truck or anywhere to park a boat in the garage or yard. http://www.seaeagle.com/Catamaran/375fc.asp Does anyone have any experience w/ these? Is it a good deal? Is the trolling motor any good or just better off buying something else and add on to the boat? What are your thoughts in general about this particular product? Thanks guys and any advise or comment is welcome.
