I'm looking to buy a new st croix spinning rod. I want a 6'6 and a medium power fast action. I have a st croix premer medium fast action and like it a lot but I want to upgrade a little. I'll be using the rod in brackish water on the chesapeake bay, so I'm not sure if is boils get a fresh or salt rod. I'll be catching anything from striper bass to largemouth maybe some perch. I'm not looking to spend anymore than 250

I'm looking to buy a new striped bass spinning rod but am not sure what to get for my needs. I need a short rod around 6 foot that can handle striped bass around 35-40 inches. I also if possible would like the rod to be a blessing to fish poppers and lures if possible? What should I get?

What kind of reel and size should I match a 6'6 med power fast action st croix avid with? Lastly so u think the medium power avid can handle stripers up to 30 inches

Which of these rods are more sensitive in 6'6 power fast action the avid, avid inshore, or tidemaster

Are the tidemaster'a big downgrades from the avids? Just wondering

So for te type of fishing I'm doing should I go with the avid or tidemaster? Also will brackish water harm the avid?

I am looking to purchase a spinning rod that will fit what I'm looking for. I want a rod that I can use to fish everything I fish for perch, catfish, striped bass, and largemouth. So the rod needs to be versatile. I live on the chesapeake bay so the water is brackish. Which at croix should I buy for my needs? Should I get like an avid or a type of tidemaster? Not sure please help. Also I don't want to spend more than 200 dollars

I like the shimano reels but am not sure what to get, although I am open to any brands. I use the rod for everything largemouth, perch, striped bass just about everything. I'm looking to get into drop shot rigs and am not sure what is the best products to get. What kind of weight and what size should I use? What is your guys opinions on the best hooks? What is your guys favorite worms/baits for drop shorting? And also how long should I make the hook away from the sinker?

I use the rod for just about anything from perch largemouth catfish and even striped bass so I need a reel that can handle this if possible. Lastly I don't want to spend more than about 130 bucks.

I'm thinking about getting an ugly stik, because I heard they are very durable and nice for the money. I live in the Chesapeake bay and will be using as a rod for everything including stripers, perch, and bass. What kind of spinning ugly stik should I get? What power and action should I get? And what kind if reel should I get? Also what size reel?

I've been fishing for striped bass near a discharge and caught a couple but how do you guys think I could catch more? I've caught them on poppers and live lining whit perch. Anyone know any lures to get the bigger ones to bite there's a lot of smaller ones? They nip on top the water all the time but miss the popper a lot
