  1. I'm looking to buy a new st croix spinning rod. I want a 6'6 and a medium power fast action. I have a st croix premer medium fast action and like it a lot but I want to upgrade a little. I'll be using the rod in brackish water on the chesapeake bay, so I'm not sure if is boils get a fresh or salt rod. I'll be catching anything from striper bass to largemouth maybe some perch. I'm not looking to spend anymore than 250
  2. I'm looking to buy a new striped bass spinning rod but am not sure what to get for my needs. I need a short rod around 6 foot that can handle striped bass around 35-40 inches. I also if possible would like the rod to be a blessing to fish poppers and lures if possible? What should I get?

I own a st croix premeir and love it but kinda want to upgrade a little. I might get the at croix avid or maybe try a fenwick. In your guys opinion what's better?

I like the shimano reels but am not sure what to get, although I am open to any brands. I use the rod for everything largemouth, perch, striped bass just about everything.   23. I'm thinking about getting an ugly stik, because I heard they are very durable and nice for the money. I live in the Chesapeake bay and will be using as a rod for everything including stripers, perch, and bass. What kind of spinning ugly stik should I get? What power and action should I get? And what kind if reel should I get? Also what size reel?
  24. I've been fishing for striped bass near a discharge and caught a couple but how do you guys think I could catch more? I've caught them on poppers and live lining whit perch. Anyone know any lures to get the bigger ones to bite there's a lot of smaller ones? They nip on top the water all the time but miss the popper a lot
