Well if the color of the trailer does not matter then why does the color of the jig matter? Would you use a bright pink jig with yellow stripes ?

You would use the rattles when the water gets to be a darker color. Or you can use them at night and cloudy days it's just like using a rattle in a square bill you do so the fish can key in on where the bait is.

Some one yesterday had a 26 pound bag.....
