Microwave guides do u sand the feet? The blank is 7'3" , the back of the reel seat is going to be 9.5" , where is a good starting point for the guides, it's a casting rod

If u use Winn Grips on your fishing rod builds, Do u ream them & fit them before final install???

This is going to be a casting rod, had to go with the 16 for the 14 mm for the exposed rod seat for rod diameter, the reel seat is a Fuji ECSM. The 17 started at 15mm

When ordering it says seat size 16 or 17 & then seat I.D.

First I would like to thank everyone on here that replied back to all my questions or messages!!!! Ordered a MHX MB874 & microwave guides, Mudhole is running 10% off & free shipping over $100 this weekend, not sure if I'm going with Fuji or AT ECRS reel seat & Winn or EVA grips & butt. Now how do I know what size reel seat & winding checks I need???

I'm a beginner, never did any before, easier than u think, I just measured it up to one of my other rods, put tape around it, marked it & cut it with hacksaw, ordered a new butt cap & epoxy it on, if u do all this other hobby stuff, this will be easy for u
