  1. Not a best of show winner but I think this craw is going to be amazing. As long as it's durable and affordable these will replace rage tails as my go to craw plastic.
  2. Shakey head or drop shot for me! I always hear how drop shot is a vertical presentation but I have a lot of success actually casting it out like I would a t-rig and then fishing it the same as I would a shakey head. Only difference between the shakey head and drop shot for me is the worm is up off the bottom.
  3. I wish it were that easy. I've been fishing it for 2 or 3 years now and have yet to find a pattern or technique that works well. I never catch small fish and if I catch a big one(7+) it'll be my only fish in 4-5 hours I'm out. It's a peculiar fishery but I heard a 11 pounder was caught out of it a few months ago. I've tried every thing under the sun and still not feeling confident, that's why I made this post. I figure maybe someone could look at it and find something I may not have tried or that will produce regularly.
  4. Thanks for the reply bass wrangler! There is no grass or mats in the lake and I noticed aerators around the edges Tuesday when I fished it so it must be very low on oxygen(not sure how this effects them?). The brush pules are single and double cedar trees laid across each other or there are a few vertically standing. I will try and get a worm up in the brush piles the next time I go out!
  5. Sorry for the delay. It is also much larger than 20 acres, it is in fact 50. A creek channel runs down each finger and meets in the middle between the two. Then the channel runs down the center of the lake. The rock bank is on the bottom left of the picture.
  6. Going fishing at a local lake here in South Alabama for Largemouth. I'll be fishing around sunset from the bank. This place is loaded with trophy bass. The temperature has been in the upper 90's every day and we have had very little rain. It hasn't rained in probably a week now. The water temperature at the surface is in the mid 90's as well. The water clarity is 15-16 inches. This lake is a manmade 20 acre lake, it has a rock bank, a sandy beach type bank, creek channels, and brush piles from 15 feet deep to 3 feet deep. It has a few small inlets but is mostly a typical man-made lake in the way it slowly slopes off into creek channels near the middle. My question is, how would you go about fishing this lake from the bank and what would you be throwing? Here are my 3 setups I have planned: 1.) Biffle Hardhead with a Zoom Magnum worm 2.) Carolina Rig with a trick worm 3.) A topwater of some sort I know I didn't give much information on the lake but that's the best I know how to describe it. If you need to know more just let me know and I'll answer! Thanks!
