  1. Planning on moving to the Jacksonville area of Florida soon from the Pittsburgh area. Up here bass basically shut down from late November to maybe late March or early April. But was wondering if this happens, and if so....to what degree, in the South? And if so, how long does it usually last?
  2. I watch YouTube for bassing tips. One thing I constantly hear them saying is riping lures through grass, even treble hooked lures (crankbaits, lipless crankbaits) but anytime I've ever hit grass my retrieve is over and I can expect a wad of vegetation on the end of my line. How is this accomplished without bringing in salad? P.S.- I'm from the Northeast, maybe we just have different aquatic plants here and that technique doesn't work?
  3. I know this has been talked about before but couldn't find the thread to add on so.... Absolutely love the black Colorado blade one for night fishing. Caught 25 in under 3hrs one night and just tonight caught 12 in 2hrs. Durability isn't amazing but I have bent these back into shape multiple times and only have to replace one when the skirt slides off too many times and can't be salvaged. But for $1 ??? No better value out there.
  4. OK, since I have a bad habit of being super sarcastic if I feel someone has said something.......well let's just say.......obvious.... I'll do my very best to not be. Thank you for your insight. While I appreciate your attempt to respond to my question I believe you are mistaken as to my intent. I'm not asking you for your family's secret honey hole that has been passed down from your great granddaddy........but if you could point me in the direction of a well known public park that actually HAS bass in it's Lake that would be greaaaaat.
  5. In the Jacksonville (specifically the Orange Park area) and looking for a good bass pond open to public. Looking for quantity over quality. Funny, cause I caught 3 the other day in the next best thing to a drainage ditch but struck out today at 3 pristine lakes........so obviously I need some advice. Don't have access to a boat either.
