Yeah I actually made an account in jannsnetcraft last night. I’m in pa so I figured shipping from Ohio would be quick. How much would you say to spend on a bobbin? I bought mine for like 3.50 but saw some up to 34 at cabelas. I did buy way too small of thread I think I have size 72 in white and a little bigger in black, I’ll try the rod thread I have.

Just started to tie some jigs to hopefully hook up to some large and smallies plus a few walleye maybe. Got my grandpas old vice and some of his old fly tying stuff. He made a rod too so he has some rod thread, could I use that for my hair jigs? I just have black and white marabou now, I’m going to order some buck tail in black white and probably some shade or green and or red. Made 3 so far, have pictures of 2. Couldn’t figure out the whip finish. I got his old whip finisher but it’s different than all the ones I saw online. Tried to find a tutorial with my hands but I still couldn’t figure it out. I think I may have got it and I put some of his old lacquer down too. Won’t let me add pics. I’ll try to put some in a reply

Seller says he will split the costs. Thought we needed more pistons but my dad said they are ok now. Will be around $100 I think so not sure what he will send in mail. So sick he is doing this I didn't expect it

Ok thanks I'll keep that in mind. I think we will try to fix this one though Yeah my dad texted him. He just said stuff like that never happened to me before. I don't really expect him to pay anything but that would be sweet if he did

We were in the lake. Yeah we put some good fuel and oil in that we use for dirt bikes too

Well took it out tonight... 3 minutes in the d**n engine locks up. The one piston got tons of groves, head gasket blew. A guy who stopped to see if we were alright said he thinks it could be the impeller because I don't think it was getting water. Fished around with the trolling motor for a little... hooked one but it got off at the boat

I contacted the guy about the tracker just to see if it was a scam or actually good I'd say it's a scam?

I'm getting the first one I posted for 1000. He says it's pretty stable... we'll see. I'll post how I like it after I take it out. Thank you everyone for all the help I really appreciate it

We didn't ask. How important is it to do that? Do you think the sea nymph is worth twice as much as the first one? Yeah I couldn't even really find any good 10hp engines just a lot of vintage stuff. They go full out on their 10 hp boats

Dang that's a lot. I think we could put it together but don't know. I'll probably just end of getting the first one I linked. Did you look at the sea nymph I linked? He isn't going to drop much so I'll end up paying double what I would the first one I posted and it doesn't have electric start, the first one does (no big deal really but still nice). It's 2 feet longer and has a live well that's about all that's better. I don't think I would even really use the live well really

Looked at that boat today and one other one. The one I already linked was pretty good he came down to 1000 right away and I think I can get it for 900. I'm considering bigger ones now but I'm still very interested in that one. The other one I looked at didn't give me a good first impression. It had a bunch of leaves in it and the guy was pretty arrogant. Just didn't get a good feeling about it, he wouldn't come down in price at all either. I'm looking for something I can stand in. If I had to sit in a boat I'd rather get a trolling motor for my canoe Could you stand up on your deck? Was it a full v? I have a chevy 1500

No, I'm not sure if I will. I'm invested big into dirt bike racing also so that takes care of my competitive side. Maybe down the road though

I'm 16 now. Cut grass and other weird jobs like watch dogs etc. I make some pretty good money, enough to support all my hobbies anyway. Buying a small boat soon too

Good to hear that. I would like to have a full on bass boat but at 16 I'm not sure if it's a good decision, plus I'm not sure if it would be too good putting a 10 hp motor on one of them

Hey I'm 16, I have a canoe now but Ive been looking at fishing boats. For the lakes I want to go to you can't have anything over 10hp. Found one good one so far and am going to look at it tomorrow. If anyone has any recomendations for me on which boats to get or what to look for when I'm looking at a boat please let me know. My dad has owned ski boats before but I don't think he ever had a fishing boat. Sorry haven't logged in here in a while. Went to isle of palms it's by Charleston. Did pretty good on reds the last couple days when I found a good spot haha. Didn't get to do any bass fishing down there unfortunetly. And we drove straight through. My dad had to work so we couldn't leave a day early
